- Current custody or a recent county detention entry: use the ECDC Zuercher roster after opening the county detention page. It is not a complete historic arrest list.
- An older booking sheet or booking photo: contact Sheriff Records or submit a focused request through Eddy County NextRequest. The county also publishes request FAQs under New Mexico’s Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA §14-2-1.2.
- A court disposition: search the official New Mexico Case Lookup. A booking accusation may be reduced, dismissed, or resolved differently by the court.
- Sentenced state custody or supervision: use the New Mexico Corrections Department offender search, which is separate from the county roster.
- Federal or immigration custody: check the BOP inmate locator or the ICE detainee locator when that distinct custody status is relevant.
